I received a short notice order to make this cake and in spite of my first attemp using edible gold lust, i m quite happy with the end product. The crack/stretch marks on the surface resemble a leather finish, so i think it's good. The above picture was sent to my mobile and she wanted the brand name to be changed to MARIA, the birthday girl's name...

i made this little coins purse without planning. i had some extra gumpaste in hand so i roll it and cover it as to make a 'wantan' wrap and i roll a long gumpaste to make the clutch.... and i went on and on will the wording done... basically it's so hard to start working on it but once u hit it, u wont know that u have been on it for hours..

This cake was for dear cousins, both celebrated birthday together as their birthdate are only a week apart. the sister wanted a novelty handbag cake but brother said 'do not overshade again this year' so they came to a conclusion, lets have a 'birthday cake' like this one!
